I have been following this young girl since she first appeared in the AGT’s auditions and Mel B pressed the Golden Buzzard.

This child is amazing.

She’s very talented in so many ways. She sings (with her mouth closed, she’s a ventriloquist) and her charisma fills the room.

Her performance throughout the season was cute, incredible, amazing and completely professional.

Have you ever had the chance to meet your idol?

Well, America’s Got Talent contestant Darci Lynne Farmer did – and in a huge way!

In the video below, posted on September 20, 2017, Darci Lynne and her puppet, Petunia, joined a fellow ventriloquist named Terry Fator, who just happens to be her idol and a previous winner of America’s Got Talent from the 2007 season.

During the live finale results show, the two of them put on the ultimate ventriloquist act for millions of viewers to enjoy.

Petunia meets Terry’s turtle, Winston, and starts to get a little competitive. The diva bunny can’t help herself as she and Winston sing “Anything You Can Do” and fight for the spotlight.

Little do they know, they are even better together!

As they sing with each other, Petunia and Winston hit high notes, one after the other, proving that each ventriloquist has something special within them.

The song fits their act perfectly as Winston and Petunia take turns out-singing each other for the audience!

Did you expect it to turn into all of this?,” Oprah Winfrey asked Ellen DeGeneres on an episode of her talk show that aired on the afternoon of April 30, 1997.

Two weeks earlier, a Time cover had debuted, featuring DeGeneres and the instantly famous words “Yep, I’m Gay.”

On April 25, DeGeneres spoke to Diane Sawyer on 20/20 and said, “I decided this was not going to be something that I was going to live the rest of my life being ashamed of.”

Hours after the Oprah interview aired, DeGeneres’s charismatic bookstore owner character, Ellen Morgan, followed suit, coming out as gay in a one-hour, two-part episode of her sitcom Ellen. “The Puppy Episode” was watched by an estimated 44 million people, nearly three times the show’s usual ratings.

It’s been 20 years since that April.

DeGeneres has hosted her own daytime talk show, also called Ellen, for nearly 14 years. She’s hosted the Oscars, won the Presidential Medal of Freedom, starred in two blockbuster cartoons, and all the while lived openly as a gay woman.

This is one of my favorites songs in her “25” album.

Flawless performance of When We Were Young

Adele performed her hit ballad When We Were Young without a hitch.

The British songbird marked her epic comeback with a flawless performance, closing out the biggest night in British music.

Adele, who was the night’s biggest winner, received a rapturous applause for the beautiful song which brought the audience to their feet.

Wearing a star-embellished red dress, Adele’s voice carried throughout the arena – while telling fans who were lucky enough to be at the front of the stage “you lot remind me of when I was young!” mid-way through the song.

I have always liked cats. They have been in my life since I was young.

I found this video which very well explains what happens in your life after you make the decision of getting one. The bonus, for me, is that the “star” of this video could very well be the kitty that I currently have.

Before Kitty (aka Double Trouble), I had Xena and Rooster. These two passed on and I decided not anymore.

Yet, Kitty chose me … and here we are.

Life DOES change after you have a cat!!

In his own words ….. 

“I have been doing shows since 1976, starting when I was 17 years old. My career in show business started in Louisville, Kentucky. I moved to Orlando 26 years ago (1987) and landed a job at the Parliament House (Orlando’s Premiere Gay Entertainment Destination) as a foot light player. I was at the PHouse for 4 years.

I decided is was time to move on and left there to win over 20 pageant titles. I was able to travel quite a bit across the nation and across Florida. After this, I became show Director at Southern Nights. This gig lasted for four years. I had the opportunity to work at AmEvening at LaCage as Patsy Cline and Stevie Nicks.

I continued traveling while starting my partnership with Nancy Gilman with Ritzy Rags Wigs & More in 1995. Went to work at Cold Keg in Melbourne, Florida, where I remained for 5 years. I also worked as director at Friday Nights.

I left “Friday Nights” and have become a 6 year running show at Hamburger Mary’s Orlando. With my Cabaret Dinner Show and Leigh Shannon’s Illusions IN Revue. The Illusions IN Revue has been feature in conventions, corporate events and the Hennegar Center in Melbourne, Florida.

I had the opportunity to produce, narrate, star and a feature film “My Fair Lidy” which is now out on DVD.”

Leigh is now pursuing a reality show, and/or his own version of Last Drag Standing for a main stream cable channel.
