It’s “Oh, they’re not really racist”.

They are just “ignorant as f*ck and they just wanted change” so they voted for and were duped by the same old Reagan/Bush line of lies & deception”.

They are racist as HELL and they are also fascist as HELL too, and they don’t even know it!!
They are Christian Fascist Racists, and they know exactly what they are doing!
America needs to wake up and see the “Writing on the Wall”…
This Trump Presidency is nothing but a “Dress Rehearsal for Fascism!”

I must say that I believe that this doesn’t truly apply to ALL of them.

I want to believe that. I have to believe that.

However, it’s hard not to do so when acts of hatred, bigotry, bullying, sexism, white supremacy propaganda, homophobia, abuse and more are seen on social media and in reputable platforms as the Southern Poverty Law Center.

I think it’s fair to say that white Americans voted for this.

~US hate crimes are surging after Trump’s win~

The Southern Poverty Law Center has recorded more than 400 incidents of harassment and hate in the first six days since Donald Trump won the US presidential election.

President-elect Trump – apparently surprised by these incidents, although his campaign should be used to charges of racism by now – has called on people to stop.

He has said he wants to “bind the wounds of division.”

Something to think about …. Homelessness in young LGBT!!

As many as 40 percent of homeless youth identify as LGBT, and a new Williams Institute study of youth shelters confirms this estimate. Between October 2011 and March 2012, 354 agencies completed surveys about their clients and found that about 40 percent of their homeless and non-homeless clients were LGBT (9 percent of whom identified as bisexual). About 30 percent of clients using housing-related services (like emergency shelter and transitional living programs) were LGBT.

What was particularly disconcerting about this study was how evident family rejection contributed to this disproportionate number of homeless LGBT youth.

Of all the agencies’ LGBT homeless clients, 68 percent have experienced family rejection and more than half (54 percent) experienced abuse in their family. Fortunately, nearly 80 percent of the service providers who work with clients under the age of 18 are doing family acceptance-related work, though only about half of providers working with older youth offer such resources.

John Venn, (4 August 1834 – 4 April 1923) was an English logician and philosopher. He is famous for introducing the Venn diagram, which is used in many fields, including set theory, probability, logic, statistics, and computer science.

~~Life and career~~

John Venn was born on 4 August 1834 in Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire to Martha Sykes and Rev. Henry Venn, who was the rector of the parish of Drypool. His mother died when he was three years old. Venn was descended from a long line of church evangelicals, including his grandfather John Venn.

He began his education in London joining Sir Roger Cholmeley’s School, now known as Highgate School,with his brother Henry in September 1846. He moved on to Islington proprietary school and in October 1853 he went to Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge. In 1857, he obtained his degree in mathematics and became a fellow. He would follow his family vocation and become an Anglican priest, ordained in 1859, serving first at the church in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, and later in Mortlake, Surrey.

In 1862, he returned to Cambridge University as a lecturer in moral science, studying and teaching logic and probability theory.

In 1868, he married Susanna Carnegie Edmonstone with whom he had one son, John Archibald Venn.

In 1883, he resigned from the clergy having concluded that Anglicanism was incompatible with his philosophical beliefs. In that same year, Venn was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society and was awarded a Sc.D. by Cambridge.

He died on 4 April 1923; the cause of his death was not specified.

Google has created an interactive doodle to mark the 180th birthday of John Venn.

The internet giant has devised one of its iconic moving illustrations to commemorate the life of the philosopher, best known for creating the Venn diagram.

In the diagram, circles are used to visually and logically sort groups to illustrate their relationships to each other.
