Billy is an award winning 17 year old Anglo-Brazilian classical/fingerstyle instrumental guitarist, inspired by the likes of Rodrigo y Gabriela, Tommy Emmanuel, Mike Oldfield and Paco De Lucía.

In 2016, he reached the grand final of ‘Guitar Star’ – a guitar based talent show open to all ages and genres for Sky Arts TV, which was broadcast in Europe, Australia and South America.

An experienced live performer, he has graced the main stage of Towersey Festival along with Midge Ure and Billy Bragg and was musical guest of comedian Rory Bremner, performing live on BBC Radio Scotland and at 2 sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2016, where he has regularly performed on the Royal Mile since the age of 9.

His audition for the show, performing a classical arrangement of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ was a viral internet sensation, and altogether his videos have been seen by over 60 million people.

Andrea Bocelli has been called “the fourth tenor”; the blind, Tuscan-born vocalist has emerged as one of the most popular voices in the arena of light classical and crossover vocals and has made inroads into the world of opera as well.

His participation in Pavarotti’s 1992 hit Miserere album and Zucchero Fornaciari’s 1993 world tour brought him international attention. Bocelli has been most successful as a pop ballad singer, having recorded duets with Celine Dion, Sarah Brightman, and Eros Ramazzotti.

The movie ends with this song.

I don’t want to give  the end away but her ‘husband’ in the movie wrote this song for her, Ally.

Fully recommend it!

This song is simply incredible.

“I’ll Never Love Again” was one of the numbers they most wanted to keep in check until audiences had a chance to experience it in theaters.

The song appears in the last scene of the movie, and without giving too much away for those who have yet to see it, it is performed in two different interlocking settings, both by Cooper and Gaga together at a piano and by Gaga alone on stage. 

Cooper and Gaga famously sang all of their parts live during the making of the film, something Cooper insisted on, and “I’ll Never Love Again” is no exception.

‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’

IT BRINGS JOY TO MY HEART

To say that I’m an ardent fan of Mamma Mia isn’t enough.

First of all I love ABBA.

They were one of the musical groups of my time.

I ‘grew up’ listening to their music.

Time went by and the first movie came along. I couldn’t have enough of it. I’ve lost count of how many times I went to the theater to watch it. I even went to the ‘sing-a-long’ version.

Then the DVD came out and, of course, I ordered it.

Meryl Streep impressed me. So did the other members of the cast.

Well, of course I saw the prequel/sequel.

I loved it!!

Even learned about ABBA songs that I hadn’t heard. 

The story line, acting, the music, the photography, the colors … all of it, joyful, fun, heartwarming!!

FINALLY

I went to the movies yesterday and saw this film.

I was an ardent fan of the 1976 version in which Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson played the lead roles.

I wasn’t disappointed with this current version.

Both Bradley and Lady Gaga performed impeccably. 

Fully recommend it!

This song is simply incredible. The story around it is worth watching the film.

“Fields of Gold” is a song written and recorded by Sting.

It first appeared on his 1993 album Ten Summoner’s Tales. The song was released as a single but only made it to number 16 on the UK Singles Chart and to number 23 in the United States Billboard Hot 100.

However, it became one of Sting’s most famous songs, with many renowned artists covering the song.

In Lyrics By Sting, the singer described the view from his 16th-century Wiltshire manor house:

“In England, our house is surrounded by barley fields, and in the summer it’s fascinating to watch the wind moving over the shimmering surface, like waves on an ocean of gold.

There’s something inherently sexy about the sight, something primal, as if the wind were making love to the barley. Lovers have made promises here, I’m sure, their bonds strengthened by the comforting cycle of the seasons.”

Michael Dameski is one of the four finalists competing to be crowned the season 2 winner of World of Dance. The 22-year-old Australian native has been a frontrunner from the start and continues to wow us all week after week.

2. He starred on Broadway! Michael’s breakthrough role was the title role of Billy Elliot in Billy Elliot the Musical.
