“Despacito” (English: “Slowly”) is a single by Puerto Rican pop artist Luis Fonsi featuring Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee from the former’s upcoming studio album.

On January 13, 2017, Universal Music Latin released “Despacito” and its music video, which shows both artists performing the song in the La Perla neighborhood of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico and the local bar La Factoría.

The song was written by Luis Fonsi, Erika Ender and Daddy Yankee, and was produced by Andrés Torres and Mauricio Rengifo

There are countless versions and parodies of the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper “Despacito” up on YouTube in every language. But this instrumental version by 2Cellos may be the most impressive yet.

The duo’s Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser covers the Latin hit with no accompaniment whatsoever, alternating their cellos through the melodic lines, rhythmic bass and percussion patterns of “Despacito” effortlessly.

The video, shot in what appears to be a storage room, ends with a rousing sing-along with Sulic and Hauser showing off their vocal chops after killing it on the strings.

President Drumpf’s travel ban targeting nationals of seven Muslim-majority countries may not have held up in court (twice), but it appears quite successful at keeping plenty of other people out of the United States.

Drumpf’s order brought with it a swift decline in the number of worldwide tourists and travelers looking to visit the United States, say people in the tourism industry. Some say it could be as damaging to the US tourism sector as the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

In honor of President Barack Obama’s final day in office, Ellen DeGeneres took a moment out of Thursday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show, January 19, to pay tribute to him and First Lady Michelle Obama.

“I want to personally thank him for changing my life,” said DeGeneres. “I am a legally married woman because of him, and so is my wife.”

She continued: “His courage and compassion created equality for everyone. He moved us forward and made more happen in the past eight years than I ever dreamed possible. I love him. I love Michelle.”

Then, DeGeneres showed a video compilation of her time with the Obamas over the years. The touching send-off featured everything from Barack’s first appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2007 to Barack honoring DeGeneres with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in November.

Look, he ain’t perfect. But I’m fully confident that history will favor him, particular as compared to the sentient tire fires that have bookended his presidency.

Goddamn, going from Bush to Obama to Trump is like having leukemia, it goes into remission, and then you get back in the gym, and slowly but surely, over years and years, you build your strength back up, you’re putting weight on, and you’re getting healthy again and everything, and then right when everything’s going good, you know, and you can almost – almost – see your abs, you get hit by a fucking truck made out of turds.

Trae Crowder is an American comedian and co-writer of The Liberal Redneck Manifesto: Draggin’ Dixie Outta the Dark.

After business school, Crowder worked for the Department of Energy for six years.

In 2010, Crowder got his start as a stand up comedian following an open mic night at Side Splitters comedy club in Knoxville, Tennessee. It was after this that he evolved his main character, described as: The Liberal Redneck. His trademark comedic monologues have garnered both controversy and cumulative views now in the millions on YouTube. After his Liberal Redneck videos went viral, he appeared on a number of television and radio shows.

In June 2016, Crowder began a stint as the official “Hillbilly-in-Chief” for the New York Daily News where he posts his politically-oriented videos for the newspaper’s YouTube channel.

On November 11, 2016, Crowder was a guest on the HBO series, Real Time with Bill Maher, where he discussed his book and gave his “redneck” take on the 2016 presidential election, held three days earlier. On January 1, 2017, Crowder publicly announced through his Twitter account, “My wife’s packin our butter tubs for our move to LA. I’ll be workin on my @FOXTV sitcom Skeew!”

He is currently on the WellRED Comedy Tour with fellow comedians and writing partners Drew Morgan and Corey Ryan Forrester.

Cristiano Ronaldo meets Syrian boy tripped up by Hungarian camerawoman

The resilience of kids is a fact well know.

In the time frame of a couple of weeks, Zaid has gone from a scared, confused child, running away from his war torn country.

Matters made worse by running from the authorities and having that heartless, bigoted woman trip his dad and falling.

I think that his young mind has been able to put this away as a nightmare and now he’s experiencing only good things.

I wish this family the best.

I also wish the same to the many other refugees who are on the run.

The dream of a seven-year-old Syrian boy, who along with his father was tripped up by a Hungarian camerawoman while being pursued by police, has come true. He met his football idol Ronaldo.

Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo decided to make it up for Zaid Mohsen and his father Osama Abdul who were unlucky enough to meet a Hungarian camerawoman who “panicked” and tripped up the two while they fled the police from a refugee camp earlier this month.

Ronaldo invited the boy, his father and his older brother Mohammad, 18, to a Real Madrid game against Granada this weekend. The little one was even given the honor to walk the football pitch next to the famous football player as his personal mascot.

At some point the boy apparently felt so excited that he even tried to perform Ronaldo’s well-known celebration move, almost managing it.

“Little Zaid got to know his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo, with whom he was photographed on the pitch,” says a statement on Real Madrid official website accompanied with a photo of the family proudly standing along with Ronaldo and other members of the team.

“The father of the Syrian family, who was tripped by a Hungarian journalist, and his sons met (coach) Rafael Benítez, the technical staff and the squad minutes before the final training session ahead of the game against Granada.”
