There’s no best place for Thanksgiving than a Puerto Rican household.

Yesterday, by chance, I was lucky enough to be invited to a second dinner.

First one with family, second one with Puerto Rican friends.

You will correctly imagine which one was more fun and which one delighted the taste buds!!

National Thanksgiving Turkey Presentation is a ceremony that takes place at the White House every year shortly before Thanksgiving. The President of the United States is presented with a live domestic turkey by the National Turkey Federation, usually of the Broad Breasted White variety.

The ceremony dates back to the 1940s, with presidents occasionally sparing the bird presented to them; since 1989, during George H. W. Bush’s first Thanksgiving as president, it has been an annual tradition for the president to “pardon” the turkey.

~Donald Trump posts Thanksgiving message to YouTube~

President-elect Donald Trump wished Americans a happy Thanksgiving via YouTube late Wednesday, asking to “restore the bonds of trust between citizens.”

The 104-second video was uploaded to Trump’s Transition 2017 page, and featured the Republican sitting at a desk in front of an American flag and speaking directly to the camera.

It’s the second video posted to Trump’s new YouTube page this week, following another clip that laid out plans for his administration.

We all know that the “Christmas Spirit” begins to show its face way before Thanksgiving. Mr. Turkey frequently makes it a point that his day comes before Santa’s. It seems that these holidays have become blurred ….. and there’s always the question of “Why”? I always wonder.
