Many are aware of the struggle the LGBT community has gone through since immemorial time.
Let me start at the Stonewall Inn riots in 1969.
This is usually a cut-off point where the LGBT community of the time decided: no more.
We are standing up to abuse and discrimination.
Major goals have been attained since then.
Check list below.
The President-Elect has selected nominees for Cabinet positions.
No one of them has a favorable view of the of the LGBT community and they have expressed their feelings.
It’s not the time to stand down, to go back in the closet.
It’s a time to continue the fight, be vigilant and proud.

2012 – Housing Discrimination Prohibited
2013 – Same-sex Marriage Ban deemed unconstitutional
2014– Workplace Discrimination Prevention Executive Order
2015 – Same-sex marriage legalized nationwide
