Drumpf Impeachment Would Lead to Civil War

I can’t comprehend how low some have gone.

Raising the specter of civil war because Congress does the job they were elected to do.

This is incitement for violence … and he’s still walking around.

Former Drumpf adviser Roger Stone believes a civil war would ensue if Congress impeaches Donald Drumpf.

Speaking to TMZ at the Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday, August 22, Stone was asked what he believes would happen if Congress moves to strip Drumpf of his power.

“The people who are calling for his impeachment are the people who didn’t vote for him. They need to get over it. They lost. Their candidate had every advantage,” he said, pointing out that the Hillary Clinton campaign spent $2 billion dollars compared to the Drumpf campaign’s $275 million.

“Sorry, he whipped her a$$. It’s over. You lost,” Stone said.

“Try to impeach him. Just try it.

You will have a spasm of violence in this country, an insurrection, like you’ve never seen.”

In a tweet coming shortly after Robart’s initial ruling, he called him a “so-called judge,” whose decision put national security in jeopardy.

The context of this bullish statement directed at the courts is that, on Tuesday, February 7, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals will take up the issue of the legality of Trump’s presently suspended Muslim ban. This hearing comes as just one stop in an already long and winding legal battle between those opposed to the ban and those in favor of it.

Seattle Federal Judge James Robart ruled against the ban late last Friday, February 3, and the Trump administration has been up in arms ever since then, trying to get it reinstated.

In nine days, President Barack Obama will become a private citizen after eight years of being the president of the United States of America.

He gave his farewell address last night, January 10.

There was no hint of hate, remorse or bitterness in spite of the experiences he had while serving the country.

He’s an example of dignity, decency, principles, caring, love and so much more.

I thank you!

I am proud of you as you served.

I am ashamed of the treatment you received from others.

Yet, you remained above it all.

“When they go low, we go high”

It’s always mentioned that you are the first African American president elected.

I’m going to note what I’ve always said:

You are half white!!

ONLINE EPIDEMIC OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

… to generations of terrified men hiding behind screens!

I found this video this morning as I ‘surfed’ through my Facebook feed.

This weekend I watched the ‘Michael Moore in Trumpland‘ movie.

It’s interesting to me how the message that Agnes Török ties in with Moore’s movie and the fact that there’s the first woman nominee for President of the United States.

Agnes Török is a multilingual award-winning spoken word poet, author and workshop leader. Török has been featured as a TED speaker, regularly collaborated with the BBC and featured at multiple international festivals for arts and sciences.

She has performed on four continents, writing and performing poetry about intersectional feminism, economic equality and the politics of mental health.

~The Project~
The Dangerous Women Project is an initiative of the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at the University of Edinburgh.

The Project asks: what does it mean to be a ‘dangerous woman’?

The idea that women are dangerous individually or collectively permeates many historical periods, cultures and areas of contemporary life (despite, and in some instances in response to, explicitly feminist movements).

We may take lightly the label attached by mainstream media outlets to women such as Shami Chakrabarti of Liberty, or Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon as being ‘the most dangerous woman in the UK’.

But behind this label lies a serious set of questions about the dynamics, conflicts, identities and power relations with which women live today.

The Dangerous Women Project will curate 365 responses to those questions from all over the world between International Women’s Day 2016 and International Women’s Day 2017.
