THE REPUBLICAN CARE PLAN

If you don’t know what has happened in the last couple of days related to the health care issue discussed in secret meetings, without hearings and the usual procedures, you have been hiding under a rock.

Bottom line, the Senate didn’t have the votes to pass “TrumpCare“.

The new idea, coming from Turtle McConnell and tweeted by this ‘so called president’ is REPEAL NOW, REPLACE LATER.

McConnell’s brilliant idea:

repeal Obamacare now with a two year delay to provide for a stable transition period. 

I had a ‘blast from the past‘ thought and remembers Alan Grayson, former Democratic Representative for the 8th congressional district of Florida.

Well, they went ahead and did it.

They even celebrated in the Rose Garden.

Yet, that celebration is way premature.

Lawrence O’Donnell compared that ‘partying’ to celebrating at a baseball game after scoring in the first inning.

This ‘bill’, it’s proposal, it’s course through the House only showed who the Republicans really are.

George Frederick Baer (September 26, 1842 – April 26, 1914) was an American lawyer who was the President of the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad and spokesman for the owners during the Anthracite Coal Strike of 1902.

“These men don’t suffer! Why, half of them don’t even speak English.”

Baer was confronted with the Coal Strike of 1902 in the anthracite coal fields of eastern Pennsylvania, the largest united strike of the United Mine Workers. The Reading was a major employer in the region, and Baer refused to put down the strike or speak to the strikers, citing Social Darwinist ideas.

Baer’s attitude was released into the papers and became an example of arrogance and superiority.

I can truly tell you, from the front lines, that healthcare is a major issue in the lives of all Americans.

You never know when any medical condition will strike you or any member of your family.

It can deal a devastating blow to life as you know it … emotionally and financially.

It’s my strong personal belief that we are on this Earth to help each other when needed.

Trumpcare vs. Obamacare

The Congressional Budget Office report on Trumpcare is out, and it’s devastating: 14 million people losing insurance in the first year, 24 million over time, with premiums soaring for older, lower-income Americans — in many cases, the very people who went strongly for President Trump.

The C.B.O. thinks it would reduce the deficit, but only marginally, around $30 billion a year in a $19 trillion economy.

Obamacare imposes a mandate to induce healthy people to sign up, offers means-tested subsidies to make insurance affordable and expands Medicaid to take care of people with really low incomes. Trumpcare eliminates the mandate, slashes subsidies overall and redirects them to those who don’t need them and sharply cuts Medicaid.

Of course that leads to a huge drop in coverage.

Liberal Redneck Trae Crowder contemplated not talking about Drumpfcare because it’s so “profoundly terrible that even most Republicans hate it.”

Says Crowder

“This thing is the shi**y Independence Day sequel of health care laws.”

Crowder also comes for “senior Drumpf administration anus polisher Jason Chaffetz” and his remarks about choosing between health care and an iPhone.

“That sh*t is like telling somebody that if they can’t afford their work truck payment this month then maybe they shouldn’t have bought those blue jeans back in October … the cost of an iPhone won’t get you two aspirins and a slap on the ass in an American hospital … Will somebody explain to this dude that a smartphone hasn’t been a luxury item in this country in ten damn years … you can’t hardly live without a smartphone in modern America.
