Stephen William Hawking, CH CBE FRS FRSA, (8 January 1942 – 14 March 2018), was an English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author and Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge.

His scientific works included a collaboration with Roger Penrose on gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation.

Hawking was the first to set out a theory of cosmology explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics.

He was a vigorous supporter of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics.

The physicist, who died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at age 76, wasn’t expected to see his 25th birthday, after being diagnosed with the incurable neurodegenerative condition ALS at age 21.

Though Hawking beat the odds for more than five decades, the scientist told the Guardian in 2011 that death was never far from his mind.

~Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis~

ALS is a group of rare neurological diseases that mainly involve the nerve cells (neurons) responsible for controlling voluntary muscle movement. Voluntary muscles produce movements like chewing, walking, and talking. The disease is progressive, meaning the symptoms get worse over time.

Currently, there is no cure for ALS and no effective treatment to halt, or reverse, the progression of the disease.

The task now is to help the man keep his cool (a monumental task at that, as he has so very well proven).

On 20 January, inauguration day in the United States, a nameless, unknown military aide accompanied President Barack Obama to the handover ceremony at the US Capitol in Washington.

That military aide carried a satchel over his or her shoulder containing a briefcase known as “the nuclear football“.

Inside will be a piece of digital hardware measuring 3in (7.3cm) by 5in, known as “the biscuit“.

This contains the launch codes for a strategic nuclear strike.

The briefing for the ‘so-called president‘ on how to activate them took place out of public sight, but the moment Drumpf took the oath of office that aide, and the satchel, moved quietly over to his side.

MAINSTREAM MEDIA’S JOB

Mainstream media (MSM) is mass media that influences a large number of people and both reflects and shapes prevailing currents of thought. It may be contrasted with alternative media which may contain content with more dissenting thought.

There are less than 50 days left for the general election of this ‘great country‘.

For more than 18 months, we have been subjected to the theatrical antics of an ‘orange citizen‘, a clown of major magnitude who has opened ‘Pandora’s Box‘ and has let loose the ugliest aspects of what has been known as the ‘Ugly American‘.

Now, plenty of proven facts about the major flaws of this candidate are coming out … and I mean faster than a flooded creek.

Could it be ‘too little, too late’ to stop the ‘orange man’? 

I sure hope so.

His alternative would lead to terrible consequences that would be felt worldwide.

WHY WE ARE HERE

I stare at the stars at night,
They’ve been there for a million years,
Then I listen to the quite
That has been heard by a million ears,
I stand all alone by a tree
That has been here since time began,
Then I wonder what is the key
To unlock the existence of man,
Why do we live if we are meant to die
What is the meaning of our being,
Are we just meant to multiply
Or are we just here for the sightseeing,
Are we to build or are we to preserve
Or are we intended to destroy,
Maybe we are designed to bow and serve
Or maybe we are someone else’s toy,
Do we truly know what is our objective
Or for us is their a greater ideal,
Maybe if we had a different perspective
Knowledge to us, the universe would reveal,
