Filmed at the beautiful Kualoa Ranch in Oah’u, Hawai’i, this Live Outside video features Taimane performing her original composition, “The Moon,” alongside Windy Weather (violin) and Jasmine ‘Jazzy’ Skurtu (guitar).

“Being born and raised in Hawai’i, it’s hard not to be inspired by the nature around me,” shares Taimane.

“This song came to me one night when I was laying in my backyard with my dog, looking up at the moon wondering what she must be feeling. I did my best to personify her essence, who she is, and this song arose.”

Together they have turned classical and waltz music into a worldwide concert touring act, as successful as some of the biggest global pop and rock music acts.

For his work, Rieu has been awarded such honours as the Order of the Netherlands Lion by the Netherlands, the Knight of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by France, and the Honorary Medal by his native Province of Limburg.

Celine Dion has had a hard 2016, losing both her husband Rene Angelil and her brother Daniel to cancer within two days of each other back in January.

In her first major appearance since those tragic deaths, Dion was honored Sunday (May 22) with the 2016 Billboard Music Awards ICON Award, with an introduction by Seal.

 “Icon — it’s a word that conjures up visions of someone deserving of our complete respect and admiration, a person who we look at with awe.

In the past, only a select few performers have received the Billboard ICON Award, legends like Neil Diamond, Stevie Wonder, Prince,” says Seal.

The first official single is the song “The Arena“, which was released along the pre-order of the album on iTunes on June 28th.

The same day, the singer also premiered the music video to support this new single and first taste of this new era.

After teasing the release of her forthcoming third studio album, Lindsey Stirling has dropped the first single in June 28, titled “The Arena.”

The music is noticeably more powerful and poignant than a lot of her previous work, making use of strong drum work and more electronic influence in the bassline and backing synths.

The music video also works to present a stronger Lindsey Stirling herself, as the concept of an “arena” and the motif of a post-apocalyptic wasteland battleground are surely settings in which only the strong survive.

The album: Brave Enough.

David Garrett (born David Christian Bongartz; 4 September 1980) is a record-breaking German pop and crossover violinist and recording artist.

Garrett was born in Aachen, Germany, to an American prima ballerina, Dove Garrett, and a German jurist, Georg Bongartz. He adopted his mother’s maiden name as his stage name, as “it was more pronounceable”.

Violinist superstar David Garrett has won many plaudits both for his classical playing and unique crossover styles. Rock, pop and core classical works are all fair game for the former model.

Life and Music

David Garrett was born on September 4th 1980 in Aachen, the son of German-American parents, and first started to learn the violin at the age of four.
He made his first public appearance aged ten and was one of the first students of Itzhak Perlman at the Julliard School in 1999. He graduated from his master class when he was 23.
Later David withdrew from the international concert business, moving to New York for self-reflection and artistic advancement. During this time, Garrett earned his living by working as a model.
The youngest exclusive recording artist with Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft, David has played in all the great European cities with the most distinguished orchestras and conductors.
He released his first album, Free, in 2007.
Subsequent albums have seen him experiment with core classical repertoire and crossover material.
In 2010 Garrett released Rock Symphonies, a collection of rock and metal songs recorded on the violin.
In the past, he has played with pianists Itamar Golan, Daniel Gortler and Milana Cernyavska.
In 2012 it was announced that Garrett was to play the role of Paganini in a forthcoming biopic.
He released 14, a collection of recordings inspired by his teenage years, in 2013.
Did you know?
In 2008 David Garrett held the Guinness World Record for the World’s Fastest Violinist when he played Flight of the Bumblebee in 1 minute and 5.26 seconds.

WATCH LINDSEY STIRLING ‘TAKE FLIGHT’ IN HER NEW MUSIC VIDEO

One of the most unlikely music phenomena of recent years has been Lindsey Stirling, whose classical-meets-dance music has catapulted her to huge online popularity, with her videos having been viewed hundreds of millions of times.

Ms. Stirling released her second album, “Shatter Me” (Lindseystomp).

Many of our favorite artists began rolling out extravagant, new music videos as part of The YouTube Music Awards.

Lindsey Stirling, the “hip-hop violinist” gained attention following a season five showing on America’s Got Talent , but really rose to prominence through her YouTube videos, released “Take Flight” as part of the YMAs.

The crossover-classical epicness of the track is partnered with a fantasy-themed video that finds our hero navigating an Escherian stairwell labyrinth and rowing through a storm cloud, in hopes of reaching a dual planet, a la Another Earth.
