Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump break the 4th wall in ‘SNL’ cold open
Saturday Night Live took its last possible opportunity to skewer the election once more, bringing back Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump and having Kate McKinnon reprise her role as Hillary Clinton.
The two took to a CNN talk show for perhaps one of the most uncomfortably real cold opens in recent memory.
Tackling everything from Clinton’s latest email debacle to Trump’s miraculous ability to sidestep controversy in a news cycle increasingly dominated by negative press for Clinton, the skit also managed to bring some legitimate surprises to the table.
“Don’t you guys hate feeling like this?” Baldwin says, breaking character.
The two soon make a break for it, departing from their skit and running through the streets of Times Square to the tune of Arcade Fire’s “Wake Up.”
Perhaps more important than making you life, cry, cringe, and want to run away, SNL wants you to vote.
“We can’t tell you who to vote for, but we all get to choose what kind of country we want to live in,” McKinnon concludes.
Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon Break Character to End the Election Vitriol on SNL
In its final cold open before Tuesday’s presidential election, Saturday Night Livebrought in veteran castmember Cecily Strongas CNN’s Erin Burnett to moderate a conversation between the two major party nominees.
What started as a regular cold open with Republican nominee Donald Trump portrayed by Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon‘s Hillary Clinton ended in unusual fashion: the two sketch actors breaking the fourth wall and addressing the crowd directly.
Trump supporter charged after sucker-punching protester at North Carolina rally
A Donald Trump supporter has been charged with assault after multiple videos showed him sucker-punching a protester at a campaign rally in Fayetteville, N.C.
The videos, which appeared on social media early Thursday and are shot from different perspectives, show an African American with long hair wearing a white T-shirt leaving Trump’s Wednesday-night rally as the audience boos. He is being led out by men in uniforms that read “Sheriff’s Office.” The man extends a middle finger to the audience on his way out.
Then, out of nowhere, the man is punched in the face by a pony-tailed man, who appears to be white, in a cowboy hat, black vest and pink shirt as the crowd begins to cheer.
The protester stumbles away, and then is detained by a number of the men in uniforms.
Ronnie C. Rouse and Rakeem Jones attended a Donald Trump rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina, as a “social experiment” with several other friends. They were kicked out almost immediately, and one was assaulted as it happened.

The world was shocked when Paris was attacked by extremist on the evening of November 13 and the attacks in Beirut the day before. Humanity weeps for those we have lost in these tragic events, but it we need to look at why this keeps happening.
Russell Brand has published a video of what he thinks we need to do to end terrorism.
His ideas are great.
We must come to the understanding that we are all connected and that we share this planet with each other.
Violence is never the solution to violence, that will only fuel the flames.
If we show nothing but love to each other that will take the power away from the brutality that humans are capable of.
It is time for us to rid ourselves of these wars and unite as one on this planet. When the history of man has reached its closure will it be ridden with acts of hatred .… or will it be the story of a logical and understanding species?
