Anne Frank Centre warns of ‘alarming parallels’ between Drumpf’s America and Hitler’s Germany
The human rights group compared Drumpf’s Presidency to the ‘escalating steps of oppression’ that led to the Holocaust.
A human rights group inspired by Anne Frank has drawn comparisons between Drumpf’s America and Adolf Hitler’s Germany.
The Anne Frank Centre for Mutual Respect warned of “alarming parallels” between the ‘so-called President’ and the Nazi leader, likening the present-day US to the “escalating steps of oppression” that led to Holocaust in the 1930’s and 1940’s.
Born and raised by underpaid public school teachers in Sanford, Fla., Andy Marlette graduated from the University of Florida and became staff editorial cartoonist at the Pensacola News Journal in 2007.
Andy’s editorial cartoons have become both hated and adored by daily readers. His work has been awarded by the Florida Society of Newspaper Editors for best editorial cartoons on state issues.
There’s no way that anyone who is sane and has a functional mind; anyone who hasn’t drank the Kool-Aid; anyone concerned about this country and the world – can’t let their guard down.
This is a historic time for the planet that we live in.
The degree of obvious racism and white supremacy sentiment, which has always been hiding in the wings of this society, has come forth and continued to grow.
Mexicans, Muslims, Latinos and many other people of color have been the target of plenty vitriolic comments.
When whites arrived in this country, they had to “dispose” of the “red man”.
The policies of this belief have continued undaunted.
The current political climate has done nothing to stop it.
In the 19th century, manifest destiny was a widely held belief in the United States that its settlers were destined to expand across North America.
Historians broadly agree that there are three basic themes to manifest destiny:
The special virtues of the American people and their institutions
The mission of the United States to redeem and remake the west in the image of agrarian America
An irresistible destiny to accomplish this essential duty
Historian Frederick Merk says this concept was born out of “a sense of mission to redeem the Old World by high example … generated by the potentialities of a new earth for building a new heaven”.
During the months of June 2016, a Donald Trump-inspired congressional candidate has sparked outrage by plastering “Make America White Again” on billboards in eastern Tennessee.
Rick Tyler, an Independent running in the 3rd District that includes the city of Chattanooga, almost immediately started catching hell for his racist spin on the presumptive Republican presidential candidate’s slogan, “Make America Great Again.”
Donald Trump, the billionaire businessman whose outsider campaign has both galvanized millions of voters and divided the Republican Party, is the 2016 GOP presidential nominee.
The New Yorker’s embrace by the Republican National Convention marks a remarkable moment in U.S. political history and validates a campaign that shattered precedent, defied pundits and usurped the GOP establishment.
Puerto Rico is the best of both worlds, you can’t describe all Puerto Ricans as one because all Puerto Ricans are unique, there are whites, blacks, blondes, brunettes, redheads, even Asian-looking (generally nicknamed: chino) Puerto Ricans.
The only real trait to distinguish them is their attitude, Puerto Ricans never bow down, unlike almost all other countries, when Puerto Ricans go somewhere, they are the boss.
Puerto Rico is not just another Caribbean island, Puerto Rico is the big boss of the Caribbean, even though it is one of the smaller Antilles.
A word of advice for all people who are generally not welcome, like hicks and frat boys, if you visit the island, try not to look anyone in the eye, or you’ll end up 7 feet under … that’s right, 7 feet.
Don’t go to Puerto Rico to cause any trouble, everyone there is true gangsta.
As I look back, I see all the progress that has been made in so many different aspects of medical care.
One very important and interesting one is the ability to reassign anatomically correct genitals to those individuals who feel they are trapped in the wrong body.
Another important aspect, to me personally, has to do with these anti-LGBT laws that are popping out in so many states. These laws are clearly discriminatory against a group of citizens who are a part of this country.
WARNING!
The included video is an animated video released by the European Society of Urology that demonstrated the surgical process.
It’s not for the faint of heart of those who are easily offended.
This is medicine.
This is actual surgery.
My intention is education for anyone who stops by this post.
Sex reassignment surgery for male-to-female involves reshaping the male genitals into a form with the appearance of, and, as far as possible, the function of female genitalia.
Prior to any surgeries, patients usually undergo hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and, depending on the age at which HRT begins, facial hair removal.
There are associated surgeries patients may elect to, including facial feminization surgery, breast augmentation, and various other procedures.
When changing anatomical sex from male to female, the testicles are removed, and the skin of foreskin and penis is usually inverted, as a flap preserving blood and nerve supplies (a technique pioneered by Sir Harold Gillies in 1951), to form a fully sensitive vagina (vaginoplasty).
A clitoris fully supplied with nerve endings (innervated) can be formed from part of the glans of the penis.
If the patient has been circumcised (removal of the foreskin), or if the surgeon’s technique uses more skin in the formation of the labia minora, the pubic hair follicles are removed from some of the scrotal tissue, which is then incorporated by the surgeon within the vagina.
