We are back home!

Kitty and Frida were left at home while we were away on holiday.

Seems to be that, although well cared for, they sure missed us.

Now they are relaxing in the company of their mommies!

John Mellencamp capped off a haunting rendition of his politically charged anthem “Easy Target” with a powerful statement on Thursday’s episode of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
The musician dropped down to one knee and raised a fist into the air as his performance drew to a close.

The track itself, which Mellencamp released on the eve of ‘so-called President’ Drumpf’s inauguration in January 2017, addresses racial inequality and references the Black Lives Matter movement.

The lyrics include:
So Black Lives Matter, who we tryin’ to kid.

Here’s an easy target. Don’t matter, never did.

Crosses burning such a long time ago, 400 years and we still don’t let it go.

Video of Mellencamp’s “Late Show” protest is now going viral, poignantly coming as it did ahead of this Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots.

NFL players have invoked the wrath of Drumpf and the president’s supporters in recent months for following the lead of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick in taking a knee during the national anthem before games to protest police brutality and racial injustice.

Isn’t it time for everyone to be honest and call white supremacists the domestic terrorists that they are?

When anybody, especially the ‘so-called president’, talks about what happened in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend, from the Citronella Putsch on Friday night, August 11, to the violence on Saturday morning, to the graphic fulfillment of the philosophy behind these lunatic laws on Saturday afternoon, tells you that what happened in Virginia has anything to do with “polarization,” or that it is a problem equally shared by Both Sides, that person is trying preemptively to pick history’s pockets.

Seth Conrad Rich (January 3, 1989 – July 10, 2016) was a 27-year-old employee of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) who was fatally shot in the Bloomingdale neighborhood of Washington, D.C

The crime was used as the pretext for right-wing conspiracy theories, which have been debunked by law enforcement agencies in their official statements about the case. These theories falsely stated that there is credible evidence Rich was the source of the 2016 Democratic National Committee email leak.

According to U.S. intelligence assessments, Russian intelligence services are most likely responsible for the hacking and the leak.
