For one so small,
you seem so strong
My arms will hold you,
keep you safe and warm This bond between us Can’t be broken
I will be here
Don’t you cry
‘Cause you’ll be in my heart
Yes, you’ll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forever more
You’ll be in my heart
No matter what they say You’ll be here in my heart, always
Why can’t they understand
the way we feel
They just don’t trust
what they can’t explain
I know we’re different but,
deep inside us We’re not that different at all

Phil Collins Performs: ”You’ll Be In My Heart” Live at the First Farewell Tour, 2004.
Some of you know that I had a difficult day yesterday.
My main goal it to put the incident behind me. There’s no importance in things that are unimportant. There’s no importance to things that have no value. The world goes on and so does my life.
Today is s a better day thanks to the friends who stepped up to offer words of comfort. For that I’m very grateful.
~~TECHNICAL DEFINITION~~
Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between two or more people.
Although there are many forms of friendship, some of which may vary from place to place, certain characteristics are present in many types of friendship. Such characteristics include affection, sympathy, empathy, honesty, altruism, mutual understanding and compassion, enjoyment of each other’s company, trust, and the ability to be oneself, express one’s feelings, and make mistakes without fear of judgment from the friend.
While there is no practical limit on what types of people can form a friendship, friends tend to share common backgrounds, occupations, or interests, and have similar demographics.
“Don’t walk behind me; I may not lead. Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.” ~Albert Camus~
“If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.” ~~A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh~~
“There is nothing I would not do for those who are really my friends. I have no notion of loving people by halves, it is not my nature.” ~~Jane Austen, Northanger Abbey~~
“I think if I’ve learned anything about friendship, it’s to hang in, stay connected, fight for them, and let them fight for you. Don’t walk away, don’t be distracted, don’t be too busy or tired, don’t take them for granted. Friends are part of the glue that holds life and faith together. Powerful stuff.” ~~Jon Katz~~
“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.” ~~Henri J.M. Nouwen, Out of Solitude: Three Meditations on the Christian Life~~
“Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It’s not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned anything.” ~~Muhammad Ali~~
~~That’s what friend are for – Dionne Warwick~~
