WordPress Update …. “🧐 We’re Updating our Privacy Policy 🧐 …. “!!

ASKING FOR YOUR INPUT AND THOUGHTS 

Several weeks ago, I received an email from WordPress announcing to the fact that they are updating their privacy policies.

I guess I was living my life when a blogger friend mentioned something about this. This friend was concerned and was even considering closing her website.

Ah! This made me take notice and look at the email itself in more detail. I must say I’m not too good in this department, hence I would like to post this and request thoughts from any other blogger friends who may stop here and help me in this quandary.

Should I simply accept their new policy or should I also consider closing my ‘spot’?

I thank, in advance, anyone who may feel inclined to help this fellow blogger along.

The term ‘420’ began its sub-rosa linguistic career in 1971 as a bit of slang casually used by a group of high school kids (known as “Waldos”) at San Rafael High School in California.

The term ‘420’ (always pronounced “four-twenty,” never “four hundred and twenty”) came to be an accepted part of the argot within that group of about a dozen pot smokers, beginning as a reminder of the time they planned to meet to light up, 4:20 p.m.

SPECIAL DAY FOR ME YESTERDAY

A new day begins today…… July 2!

July 1st is done.

A new cycle begins.

I was born on July 1, 1950.

(There, I’ve revealed my age.)

My place of birth is Santurce, Puerto Rico, a suburb very close to San Juan, the capital city.

At my age, celebrations of the kind kinda lose their importance because you’ve had so many.

Yet, deep in the heart, it’s deeply comforting that family, friends, acquantainces and people who come into your life through the wonder of this wonderful web we weave, remember the day you were born.

Granted, Facebook has a great way of reminding them.

Every day we wake up to our own personal daily routine. We have plans for the day and we have things to do during the week, during the month, next summer, next year. What we don’t frequently realize is that life can change in a blink of an eye. Planned projects may have to be scrapped and another direction be chosen. 

All of a sudden, the direction of your life goes on a tangent. We need to be prepared. The worst would be that our time on Earth is done. 

“When a moment came that stopped me on a dime”

Take each day as it comes and “live like you were dying”.

Tim McGraw‘s Christmas memory was a life changing one. He explained that while looking through his mom’s closet for presents one year he found his birth certificate, which revealed that his last name was not Smith like he had thought, but McGraw. That moment led him to find out that his real dad was not who he thought, but instead was the baseball player Tug McGraw.
