Kids React to Gay Marriage

I was surfing around the web, mainly YouTube, trying to decide on my last post for today. I’m so happy to have found this video. To me, it’s genuine, candid, truthful, sensitive, logical and all-telling.

“I’m a senior citizen. I married the love of my life in January 2015!! Waited all my life for it to be legal under the eyes of human law.

It’s endearing and gives me hope that the new generation, coming up … will be open and free of prejudice for marriage equality.

That is … if no prejudiced person gets to them first. All of their reactions touched my heart! …. and the hope is definitely there!!

Rock on!!!”

When the this video was filmed, there were only 14 states where it was legal for LGBT couples to marry. At the time of this post, that number has risen to 37. Only 13 more to go. There’s no stopping this wave.

TheFineBros showed 13 children between the ages of 5 and 13 two different viral proposal videos – one of a man proposing to a man, and another of a woman proposing to a woman – and filmed their reactions.

Some of the kids were definitely a little bit confused at first.

But for the most part they thought the videos were really cute.

And didn’t quite get why these adorable proposals would upset anyone.

This was the face that one kid made when he found out that only 14 U.S. states allow same-sex marriage.

When asked what they think about giving gays the same rights as married couples, but not the title, they were pretty frustrated.

All in all, they were very open-minded.
