UNLIKELY FRIENDS
A Time to Talk
When a friend calls to me from the road
And slows his horse to a meaning walk,
I don’t stand still and look around
On all the hills I haven’t hoed,
And shout from where I am, ‘What is it?’
No, not as there is a time to talk.
I thrust my hoe in the mellow ground,
Blade-end up and five feet tall,
And plod: I go up to the stone wall
For a friendly visit.

Tanja Brandt is a German photographer who has dedicated her career to photographing animals and wildlife.
In one of her most recent projects, Brandt shot photographs of a highly, unlikely pair of friends. Ingo, the Belgian shepherd; and Poldi -short for Napoleon- the one-year-old owlet who have formed the most incredible bond.

There’s nothing to look into. You used my photo without my permission nor did you send me payment for it’s use. Remove it immediately. Also, remove me from your email list. I did not subscribe to you and it’s in violation of Canada’s anti spam laws.

I sure hope you received permission from the photographer for the photo you just replaced mine with. Just because an image appears on Google doesn’t mean it’s free to use. Familiarize yourself with copyright law.
