‘DTMF’ WORLD TOUR

Santo Domingo (EFE)— Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny will kicked off his highly anticipated “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour” this Friday, November 21, in Santo Domingo, marking the first stop of a global circuit that will span Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania through Jul. 2026.

Chosen by Billboard as the top Latin artist of the 21st century, the three-time Grammy winner, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, will perform Friday and Saturday at Santo Domingo’s Olympic Stadium, where tickets are completely sold out.

The show’s producers announced late Wednesday that they had opened extra seating sections after overwhelming demand and released additional tickets.

Excitement is high in the Dominican capital.

“Starting the tour in Santo Domingo is the best decision he could make. He has a huge fan base here,” said Radhy Paniagua, a 28-year-old Dominican fan.

María Magdalena, also Dominican, said Bad Bunny’s success stems from his “fun, youthful music,” adding that “it’s a privilege that the first concert is here. This is where he first became big.”

The audience includes fans traveling from abroad. “I have very high expectations,” said Sebastián Orozco, a young Guatemalan attending the opening show.

~~Approximately 50,000 fans~~

During Bad Bunny’s concerts in the Dominican Republic, there were approximately 50,000 fans attended each night at the one and only Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez, making it a massive event for the region.

Bad Bunny has achieved an unprecedented milestone in the Dominican Republic, selling out two consecutive concerts at the Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium in record time as part of his “DeBÍ TIRAR MáS FOToS World Tour”. The first show, scheduled for Friday, November 21, sold out just three hours after an exclusive pre-sale for Banreservas Visa cardholders began on Tuesday, June 3. By the time general ticket sales opened at 1:00 p.m., nearly all seats were gone.

In response to overwhelming demand, organizers announced a second show for Saturday, November 22—also selling out within hours. This makes Bad Bunny the first artist to completely sell out two shows at the Olympic Stadium in a single day, a feat never before accomplished in the country.
